Celticized head of Apollo to right, the hair devolved into leaf-like ornaments and with two strings of pearls ending in miniature human heads coming out of his own head. Rev. Devolved charioteer, driving cart drawn by a centaur to right, holding reins in his right hand; below, winged male figure to right. DT 2173. LT 6527. SLM 223-224. A lovely and nicely toned piece with an attractive obverse. Edge split, otherwise, very fine.
